Used, but good condition with screw fasteners shortened and shows attempts of attaching lugs. See picture for details. Ref: A28.

The S.A.M.R. were formed on 1 April 1913 from the existing Permanent and Police Forces of the South African provinces. The last regiment was disbanded in 1926.
