It was not until 1969, after the Royal prefix was granted to the Hong Kong Police. Royal Hong Kong Police Force ended on June 30, 1997. At centre of badge is the Hong Kong waterfront featuring ships and a meeting between British and Chinese surrounded by a laurel wreath. With a St. Edward's Crown (Queen's crown) surmounting the badge.
