A crowned Lion within a Leaf Wreath is the emblem for General Functional Ability. This includes all Functions for which no separate emblem has been established.
As of 1986, an emblem embroidered in gold was introduced for Jersey and an embroidered in black for the Combat unform.
The Proficiency badge can be earned by successfully completing tests on various military components.
Proficiency emblems indicate that the wearer has mastered a certain military skill and has met the requirements for the right to wear the emblem in question.
Proficiency badges are worn 1 cm below the middle of the flap of the left and right breast pocket, up to a maximum of two per breast pocket.
If the soldier has more than four of these badges, it is up to him to choose which badges to wear.
If the soldier is wearing a unit badge, only one proficiency badge may be worn under the flap of the right breast pocket.
The wound badge is worn on the left breast pocket and the group appreciation pin on the right or left breast pocket. If the soldier is wearing a wound badge, only one proficiency badge may be worn on the left breast pocket.
