The Police of Denmark (Politiet, Løgreglan, Politiit) is the Danish National Police force, and the interior part of the Danish security forces in the Kingdom (The Danish Realm: Denmark (proper), Greenland, Faroe Islands).
Established in 1919.
The police of Denmark consist of 12 districts each managed by a director and two minor districts in Greenland and the Faroe Islands, run by a local chief of police.
