Old white metal helmet badge for Devon Constabulary, United Kingdom. George V cypher. Tudor (King's) crown. Worn 1901 to 1953.  
On 1 April 1966, after a public enquiry, the Devon Constabulary and Exeter City Police were combined and became the ‘Devon & Exeter Police.
A year later, 1967, the Devon & Exeter Police, the Plymouth City Police and the Cornwall Constabulary were united under the banner of the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary. 

Used, but good condition with two lugs intact. Ref: L20.
