The Fire Support Command (Vuursteun Commando, VustCo) is the artillery arm of the Royal Netherlands Army.
The command consists of 41 Artillery Battalion, a staff, the Fire Support School and the artillery training grounds and is part of the Operational Support Command Land.
Proficiency emblems indicate that the wearer has mastered a certain military skill and has met the requirements for the right to wear the emblem in question.
Proficiency badges are worn 1 cm below the middle of the flap of the left and right breast pocket, up to a maximum of two per breast pocket.
If the soldier has more than four of these badges, it is up to him to choose which badges to wear.
If the soldier is wearing a unit badge, only one proficiency badge may be worn under the flap of the right breast pocket.
The wound badge is worn on the left breast pocket and the group appreciation pin on the right or left breast pocket. If the soldier is wearing a wound badge, only one proficiency badge may be worn on the left breast pocket.
