A cloth Rising Sun badge woven/embroidered on a jungle green background cloth. The Rising Sun Badge is a dull yellow. The Crown has a dull red colour. Under the Rising Sun Badge is a "Banner" with the words: "Australian Military Forces".
Dated 1962 - 1972, but still worn by some into the 1990's.

Formed in 1901, as the Commonwealth Military Forces, through the amalgamation of the colonial forces of Australia following the Federation of Australia.
